Some time back now I helped a client set up a fairly non descript looking Facebook Business Page Post.
Although the post may have looked nondescript, the results weren’t.
She made $1040 in sales with a $25 Boost Post.
Hereâs a word of warning though before you get to carried away.
I canât take all of the credit for the results that she got becauseâŚ
- She actually listened to what I suggested that she should do.
- She did the work and deployed the system that we devised together!
Shock horror I know, a marketer telling you that you have to actually do some work {or someone in your business will} to make this strategy work {pun intended}.
Itâs not a magical fix becauseâŚ
Thereâs no such thing as a magical quick fix, theyâre like the Loch Ness Monster.
Theyâre a f*cking myth!
So what was my part in all of this?
Well Iâll hand you over to my client for a minute as she tells the story much better than me.
This is a copy of the actual conversation that we had via messenger.
My Client
Also, you know the ads you are pushing at the mo? I think I know where some of your issue lies with clients not wanting to do the work.

The ones saying $25 for $1040 return. It seems a little too easy. You may be attracting people who want a quick fix without the work.
I don’t think they realise they have to do some work, it sounds like you are going to 100% do it for them.
I think you need to clarify, unless they pay you to do it 100% with the massive package, you provide the strategy, trouble shoot and generally assist but it’s up to the client to have the product, execute the strategy and make it an easy transaction so people want to purchase again.
I couldnât have put it any better myself.
Anyway now weâve cleared that up, letâs see what she did, so you can copy it.
Hereâs the formula that I showed her…
- Is there a genuine time – quantity limited reason for them to buy?
- Let them know that when they click on the link to your product that theyâre going to be expected to buy.
- Target a very specific audience {you can do this when you Boost} by age, sex, interests and location.
- Talk about one specific product, and give them a specific reason to buy it.
- List the benefits of owning the product.
- Make your âCall To Action Very Clearâ
- Link to a page where itâs easy to buy, and they donât need to look for what they want.
So letâs take a look at how she ticked all of those boxesâŚ
- Her reason to buy was Father’s Day.
- She used the Shop Now Button so it was obvious that they would be asked to buy it.
- She targeted people in the age group that would have the money to buy the product in a country area with farming type interests.
- The ad was specifically written about the maps, with âThe Perfect Father’s Day Giftâ being the reason to buy it.
- The benefit was⌠âItâs the perfect gift thatâll take pride of place in his Man Cave or Pool Roomâ
- Call to action was⌠âCheck them out hereâ
- The link was to a page where the item was easy to find and buy.
Now in the Facebook Ad that you clicked on that landed you here on this post, I promised you that Iâd show you how to test out your Social Media Manager – Consultant.Â
Remember this?
Does your Social Media Marketing Manager – Consultant know how to do this? {Iâm referring to the $1040 in sales from a $25 Boost Post}
I’ve made this super simple for you to be able to work out if they can in less than 2 minutes.
Included in the checklist is a little test for them made up of four questions for you to ask them {with the answers} which they should easily be able to answer, if they know what they’re doing.
So hereâs how you do thatâŚ
Ask them these questionsâŚ
If I gave you $100 to sell {insert your product} from Facebook how would youâŚ
- Write the post?
- Who would you Boost it to?
- What would you do to make people buy it?
- Where would you send them to buy it?
As you now know the answers, itâll be dead simple for you to work out if they know what theyâre doing đ
Take it and use it to make it a great week đ
